There are many ways to show your love for a nonprofit: volunteering, training for a race, raising funds and more. Today, an Australian-based Blackbaud company called everydayhero launched a pre-registration site to give philanthropically-minded early adopters a sneak peek at the new platform, which is coming soon to the U.S.
Pre-launching with 15 test charity partners, the everydayhero platform transcends traditional fundraising to offer supporters a window into their entire giving experience. While other services help supporters raise and donate money to nonprofits, everydayhero takes the notion of giving a step further. It allows users to not only raise money, but also track their Giving Footprint to measure, monitor and amplify the efforts put forth when giving to a cause.
everydayhero is designed to help supporters give to any nonprofit in whatever way they choose; whether it’s fundraising around an endurance event, volunteering, having a virtual bake sale, or simply spreading the word about an organization’s mission through social media.
