Announcing Our Featured Presentations and Keynote Speakers

Social Media for Nonprofits Ignite!: As the finale of the Internet Kickoff, this presentation is open to all attendees and will feature representatives from leading social media platforms, including Causes, TwitPic, Twitter, and YouTube. In true “Ignite” style, each presenter will have five minutes to present 20 slides about their nonprofit programs and initiatives.

Technology Keynote Featuring Allison Fine and Beth Kanter: In the featured technology presentation, attendees will hear from Allison Fine and Beth Kanter, best-selling authors of the recently released book The Networked Nonprofit. Allison and Beth will lead a conversation about how nonprofits can scale social change using social media and networks.

Keynote Session Featuring Philippe Cousteau: During the keynote session, we’ll hear from Philippe Cousteau, grandson of legendary oceanographer Jacques-Yves Cousteau. Philippe is a successful entrepreneur, activist, and entertainment personality. Since the beginning of the Gulf Oil Spill, he has been reporting for various news outlets from the front lines of the disaster. He is chief executive officer of the nonprofit organization EarthEcho International.
