Well-coordinated constituent communication used to be merely a pipe dream. Who could possibly keep up with which constituent was also a volunteer or which constituent received a particular event invitation? With thousands or potentially millions of constituents, it just wasn’t realistic in the days of old.
Fortunately – and this is why I love CRM so much – now it is very realistic to track and understand supporters. It’s still a challenge, of course, but now it’s a challenge that we have the tools to overcome.
