A few weeks ago, I had the chance to catch up with Joel Bartlett, Director of Marketing at PETA and Eve Smith, Director of Interactive Marketing at Easter Seals at the AFP International conference in Chicago. Despite different missions, budgets, resources both Joel and Eve are using technology in exciting ways to connect people to their causes.
I had a little 1:1 time with Joel where he explained the ways PETA is using mobile for advocacy efforts and why he thinks mobile is the future for cultivating new supporters.
Likewise, I stopped in for Eve’s presentation to hear how Easter Seals is applying the Next Generation of American Giving research to reach across generations to attract and sustain donors.
