In order to move forward you often have to look back. In today’s session, Event 360’s Jeff Shuck will help us look back in order to reach our ever increasing revenue goals. Fundraising is about understanding human nature and looking for signals to an individual’s next action. Today we’ll put on our detective hats on and collect the clues our participants are leaving.
Who’s more likely to raise funds? What motivates participants to fundraise? Should our messaging stress impact or fundraising made easy? With peer-to-peer events there are lots of variables to take into account and the fact is we’re relying on a third party to help us meet our goals. I’m excited about Boot Camp, because I hope we’ll give you some fundraising advice and ideas to help you fund your mission.
Tomorrow we’ll first cover event analysis. When embarking on a training program it’s important to understand your current state. Once you know your measurements, you can create a plan to reach your goals. On day two, Charity Dynamic’s Donna Wilkins and I will give you ideas for putting your plan into action. We’ll help you connect your website, email, social and offline efforts together to create a cohesive fundraising plan.
