2010 NTEN Nonprofit Technology Conference – Day 1

Today is the start of the 2010 NTEN Nonprofit Technology Conference in Atlanta.  Over 1,400 nonprofit professionals will gather over the next 3 days for one of the best conferences of the entire year. Listen to episode #36 of The Baudcast to get a preview of the event.

The sessions start today with some Affinity Group meetings and the annual Day of Service. Here is a session that many people will be attending:

We Are Media Podcasting Workshop — As part of the We Are Media Project,
Chad Norman, Blackbaud’s Internet marketing manager and host of The
Baudcast
, will co-present two workshops on podcasting basics for
nonprofit.

The NTC Science Fair kicks off at 3pm. Blackbaud will be doing free “ExpertEase” consulting sessions. Visitors to the Science Fair can get some helpful advice from Blackbaud’s technology and online
fundraising experts.

Blackbaud is also sponsoring the NTC Tweetaway. Each day, we will be donating $250 to two nonprofits that participate in the NTC Tweetaway. A total of $1500 will be donated to nonprofits from April 8 to 10, 2010.

Eligible participants who are registered NTC attendees can enter for a chance to win by following Blackbaud on Twitter and @replying with a response tagged #10NTC to the daily subject that will be posted each morning at 9 a.m. ET.
