Gary Levante

Gary R. Levante, Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Berkshire Bank, America’s Most Exciting Bank®, leads corporate responsibility and sustainability for the company and its’ subsidiaries.  Under Gary’s leadership, Berkshire has earned more than two dozen accolades including the 2018 Gold Halo Award for the top community service program in North America and a 2017 Communitas Award for leadership in community service & corporate social responsibility.  A leading expert on corporate volunteerism and engagement, he regularly speaks at conferences, is active with several professional affinity groups and on social media. He currently serves on the board of America’s Charities as well as two local non-profit organizations in his home state of Massachusetts. In addition, Gary is the Regional Voice Lead for IMPACT2030 a United Nations and private sector collaborative focused on harnessing human capital to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Gary holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont.
