As the Senior Communications Strategist for Blackbaud Corporate and Foundation Solutions, David leads the demand gen outbound & inbound campaign strategy, content creation & distribution, event participation, sales enablement, and account-based marketing – for the vertical’s corporate, independent, family, and community foundation markets. He is a career marketer and fundraiser who has been on both the agency and client sides. David is also an experienced leader, copywriter and creative director, and conference presenter. Prior to Blackbaud, he spent 24 years as a principal or founder in the direct response fundraising and marketing agency world and, more recently, seven years as a demand generation director for a FinTech company and for a MarTech company. David is a volunteer fundraising and marketing consultant at several education-related organizations, and he recently earned his 90-pints-donated pin from American Red Cross.
